With Toni Morrison as a mentor and endorsements from the likes of Salman Rushdie, Taiye Selasi's debut novel Ghana Must Go is set to be a huge hit in 2013 and likely to make her a household name.

A colourful heritage, Selasi is of Nigerian and Ghanian heritage, was born in London, raised in America and now lives between New York, New Delhi and Rome. The rising star was named part of the Waterstones Eleven in 2013 before going on to be featured in The Guardian, The Telegraph and The Evening Standard.
